Tornado Alley Schutzhund Club is a full member club with
USA. We are part of the Mid-Central region. Our club was
formed in 1996 by 5 dedicated individuals, 3 of which are still
members. Our main objective is to train and title dogs for the
sport of Schutzhund. We are also here to interest and educate
the public about Schutzhund, police and search and rescue
training, to preserve the German Shepherd Dog in accordance
with the breed Standard as a working dog, to promote humane
training methods for the working dog , and to support
responsible dog ownership and breeding practices.

About Us
Our Philosophies

Our aim is to help you and your dog to achieve the highest
level you are both capable of attaining, and develop a
working relationship in a positive manor.

As a club, we strive to function through teamwork. As a
member of that team, we expect you to learn through
observation and participation.  None of us are all knowing but
some have more experience than others. One of your
responsibilities will be to ask for and seek guidance when
needed.

Members are expected to participate in all three phases. In
other words, if tracking and obedience are not evident in
your training program, then you will not be permitted to
participate in the protection work.
